Frames as Symbols

The new arc de triomph also captulizes the idea of framing through the use of built environment.
It provides a cultural forecourt in Paris and a building of stance and symbol - triumph!
Canberra is needing an iconc building....

Framing the View

A work mate introduced me to an installatio in Kassel, Germany.
It plays on the idea of framing the view of axis.
Canberra has very strong axis and i want my media building to validate and strengthen the line of axis not block the view from parliament house and the mountains.
