Taka-Tuka-Land - BERLIN

I am inspired by the Baupiloten group in Berlin which have designed the kindergarten Taka-Tuka-Land.

The architecture group has been involved in numerous education designs which is worth looking at:

The angles at the entrance create little cornors of curiosity. The lack of curves reminds me of my childhood playgrounds with timber, chains and bark- no need to be too precious with the kids!

Im designing a KINDERGARTEN!

For my design project i am to design a kindergarten to be eventually incorporated into the Howard Smith Wharf Site.

Below are a few images from Cool Hunter http://www.thecoolhunter.com.au/kids
which act as food for thought

The massive ant image plays into my groups theme of PARASITE

This is my Project 1A assignment....further development is needed still
